At the risk of sounding like a pretentious “designer-or-artist-type," the art I create has never really been intended for an enormous audience or consumer base. Creation of a web gallery allows the potential 'audience' to grow, but the intention is still to keep the consumer base down. Bad business? Maybe, but that's not really what this is about. I’m not trying to become an art-producing machine…I don’t create work quickly or frequently, and more importantly, I’m a huge fan of custom art and design. For me, there’s something special about having or giving something that no one else in the world can have. I like extremely limited-production custom work, so that's what I create.
That said, Pandion is a kind of 'creativity overflow' outlet; my real job is is as a boat & yacht designer at Donald L. Blount and Associates, Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia. If you're interested in the work I do over there, take a look at www.dlba-inc.com.
